Hello Everyone!
It honestly has been way too long of a time between updates. But I want to tell you, I will be speaking at Refuge Calvary Chapel Huntington Beach at 7pm this Sunday. (15th)
I’ll be giving a live update on just all the things God is doing in Japan and with the people around me. If you’re in the area, I’d love for you to come.😁

As Japan is only 1% Christian you would imagine that Christmas is not widely celebrated in Japan. And for the most part you would be correct. To the people here, Christmas is a time to eat a Christmas cake, buy a present for themselves, and eat KFC.

Recently, I have been talking with an man as part of my language learning. I’ll call him Ootani. Ootani-san volunteers at his local temple during the weekend telling people about the local gods. Recently, He has asked me what types of things Americans do during Christmas time. I told him God (天お父さん) gave us his Son as a gift for us. In return because of God’s grace, we give gifts to one another.

Please pray for the salvation of Ootani-san, as we continue our friendship. I am certain that personal evangelism is how the nation will be won for Christ.

Speaking of gifts,  I’ve made some woodblock carving prints. If you come to Refuge this Sunday. I’ll have a booth out front, to talk about Japan and everything that’s been happening here.
